2025 Year In Review

2025 Year In Review

I saw the fewest games in a season in several years. Just 82 overall. But they were some of the best games and a lot of fun along the way. I found myself in Montana a lot. As well as seeing state championships in three new states. One being Montana, and the other two were weekends in Wyoming and Oklahoma. Week 6 took me back to Montana. After three weekends in Montana last season, it was good to be back once again. And this time, I had another new place to see. But I wasn’t going to stay in Montana for long, as I had plans for two games on Friday if possible. And a long drive in between.

What a weekend of football it turned out to be. I was in Montana, with the prospect of another Saturday afternoon in the central part of the state. Or, I could go far east or south into Wyoming. Eastern Montana had just a couple afternoon games. While Midwest, Wyoming was hosting a Saturday night homecoming game. And I chose that. And did I pick a great one.

For a second straight weekend, I was in the great state of Montana. Central Montana to be precise. Seeing new places, I was running out of options. My Saturday was determined by the lone afternoon game anywhere west of the North Dakota state line. Though Wibaux, Savage, Richey/Lambert and Froid/Medicine Lake all had games.

Week 5 was a slow week for games. There wasn’t a lot of options in central Montana. So, Thursdays were out. And a second game on Saturday was unlikely as well. Had I been in eastern Montana, I could have maybe seen another game. But, bouncing around Central Montana has its perks.
