2023 Week 15 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
Week 15 started with some turmoil. One, there was an issue with my credential request for the Ohio state finals. Which eventually got worked out. And secondly, I had to find a new camera. I wanted to get another t8i, but it looked like none were available. And with the swithcover to mirrorless, finding an older DSLR was a priority. As I did not want to use an adapter for my lenses on a mirrorless.

2023 Week 10 (Tri-State)
Week 10 started on a somber note. And I hadn’t really planned to do anything on Tuesday. However, there was a rare game scheduled in West Virginia. And with everything going on, I just wanted to get away.
So, on Tuesday afternoon, I headed east on US422 to I-79. And took that through Washington toward Waynesburg. Passing by West Greene High School on my way along the southern reaches of PA18 into the Mountaineer State. Continue reading “2023 Week 10 (Tri-State)”
2023 Week 9 (Ohio & Pennsylvania)
With everything going on, I hadn’t really planned what games, if any, to do this weekend. Friday made the most sense. Since my daughter would be at it. Thursday wasn’t a concern. 2023 Week 4 (Ohio & Illinois)
Week 4 was a hectic week. I was supposed to be in Wyoming. But, kept getting delayed leaving. So, I looked about my original schedule, and figured I’d see a game in Ohio. And one on the way. 2023 Week 3 (Tri-State)

2022 Year In Review
After the last two years, it’s hard to say that a season was unusual. 2020 had so many twists and turns. Including spring games until June in New York City. Last year, there was some turbulence with scheduling. And I hurt my back after my trip to Arizona and things went downhill as the season went on.
This year, I was mostly healthy. Though getting older is not without its pitfalls. And things seemed to go on as planned. But my entire year had been affected by things including the economy and personal matters. I usually have a rather open personal life in the fall for football. This was a week I was not expecting. First, I was expecting to be in Oklahoma for the state finals at Central Oklahoma University. In the meantime, the window for media credentials for the West Virginia and Ohio finals both passed. And then, on Wednesday, I was still in Ohio. 2022 Week 7 (Indiana)
Week 7 was planned the moment I found the schedule change. In Indiana, there’s two conferences that regularly will schedule an entire weekend’s worth of games at Ball State’s Scheumann Stadium. The Central Indiana Conference (CIC) and the Tri-Eastern Conference (TEC). I had been to Ball State twice in the past for CIC Days, but never yet had seen any of the TEC schools play, or a TEC Day at the stadium. So, when I saw that the TEC would have TEC Day (including an extra interconference game on Friday night), I had to make a return to Muncie. Continue reading “2022 Week 7 (Indiana)”
2022 Week 6 (Tri-State)
So, I finally got home from my three week sojourn. Last week, I was in South Dakota for three games in my semi-regular stomping ground of Aberdeen. A town I’ve previously seen summer league baseball games. But, being home meant finding games for this weekend. I had an idea and then my Saturday opened up with one game in a place I’ve wanted to see for a while. But, with games in the Tri-State, I was all over the map.
